Returns & Refund Policy

At MIWA KIMONO boutique (“we” or “our store”), we carefully inspect and describe each item to provide full transparency. Given the nature of our products, the following return and refund policy applies:

1. Returns & Exchanges

All items in our store are one-of-a-kind creations made from upcycled Japanese kimonos and vintage materials. Minor imperfections, stains, or signs of age may be present, and are considered part of the piece’s beauty and uniqueness.

For this reason, we do not accept returns or exchanges for personal reasons.

However, we do accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:

• You received the wrong item

• The item is clearly defective or damaged (must notify us within 7 days of receipt)

In these cases, we will cover the return shipping costs.

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in its original condition

• It must include all original packaging and accessories

Returns sent without prior contact will not be accepted.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the refund decision.

If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us again.
